Dirty Martini to shake up North London
Dynamic leisure operator CG Restaurants & Bars has continued the exciting development of its flagship Dirty Martini brand, acquiring a prime location in Islington, the fifth new site in just over a year and a half.
Situated on Upper Street, in the heart of Islington’s vibrant leisure pitch, the bar is set to open late July 2015 and marks Dirty Martini’s first venture in North London and its seventh site in London overall.
The 2,800 sq ft site, formerly ‘XOXO’, will undergo a c£750K comprehensive refurbishment, in line with the unique, sophisticated and glamorous design as seen in the recently opened Clapham bar.
Dirty Martini Clapham which launched in May is currently exceeding all expectations, with the site performing 40% ahead of budget.
As well as this new opening, Dirty Martini is looking to continue its impressive expansion by securing another two central sites this year; the acquisitions are in line with CG’s stated strategy of opening 15 sites by the end of 2016.
